Great chicken salad! The place is small but very welcoming. The owner is personable and remembered us on only our second time! The "slightly" sweetened tea is on point. We will be back next time we are in Rome to visit our Berry girl!

Best chicken salad and sweet pickles in Rome even if portions are small. Too bad owner is not nice and ungrateful for my patronage. Not to mention she made an appointment with me and no showed me. Ignored my follow up phone calls, emails and when face-to-face acted as though nothing had happened. And just like a lot of other private restaurant owners in this town she has no respect for you support me I support you. I miss Penny.

I'm in town for a conference and found this place by chance. It's a small, hole in the wall kind of place and has outside seating as well. Really glad I found this place! They had several to go orders and informed me it would be about 20 minutes. I was appreciative of this because I had to be back at the conference soon and I would've been upset if they didn't tell me. They apologized for the wait too. I ordered a very reasonably priced 1/2 cranberry chicken salad and cup of chicken soup with these amazing homemade pickles. It hit the spot and I'm seriously thinking about going back to buy a jar of the pickles. There were 2 women working and they were busting their butts trying to get everyone's orders. Turns out the woman making the sandwiches was the owner. She was super friendly and funny. Enjoyed our conversation and would love to come back if I'm in the area. They are not open on the weekends though. Monday thru Friday until 3 I believe.

This is a place locals come, the owner new many by name and their orders.
Thank to Yelp I found my way in for a delicious chicken salad and Tuna salad scoop. I sat at the counter. The place is small and a lot of people were getting their lunch to go, but they have a few small tables inside and outside and a sandwich bar you can sit at. The mint tea was fantastic, very refreshing on a hot day. I couldn't decide which salad to try so I got the 2 scoop plate. The chicken salad is all white meat and very tasty. The tuna is also all white meat. It was a very satisfying lunch.
